ACT CONTEMPORARY is a space dedicated to contemporary art curated by Nazan Aktan, highly experienced freelance consultant, as well as founder and president of the “Association des Artistes Contemporains de Turquie a Paris”. Nazan works with emerging and mid-career artists, both Turkish and international, helping them with branding, positioning and with the development of their careers.
For the new edition of (un)fair, the ACT CONTEMPORARY project includes the exhibition of six Turkish artists. Talip Keser, born in 1990, loves to investigate the mysteries of the subconscious, inspiring his aesthetics to the thoughts of Sigmund Freud. Onur Can Özdemir, on the other hand, focuses in his works on the portraits of those individuals whose faces have stories to tell, exploring the different human cultures through art.
There will also be Dilek Uzunoğlu Örs, born in 1947, former manager of international companies but passionate about painting from a very young age; Zafer Kaymaz, Meriç Pabuççuoğlu and Ali Topaloğlu; and finally the sculptures of Asmer Sultanova, an artist from Azerbaijan, and the works of the multidisciplinary artist Güven Çetinkaya, whose compositions have a rhythm and dynamics capable of changing perceptions and stimulating the imagination of the spectators.
